June Education Schedule Announced!

getmediaThe Coldwell Banker Cyclones, or “big biker gang” at Horizon Realty supported the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation yet again.  I was shocked and delighted to hear that we have raised $115,805.00 over the years of our supporting this great cause.  I was even more excited to find out that we have directly saved lives, with installations in our area of defibrillators, that can literally bring someone having a heart attack back to life!  Thanks to our riders, and all of our clients, friends and relatives who support this cause!

It’s time to get out your calendars again, as we announce June’s education opportunities!

This week, education comes early!  Tracy from LoneWolf will be here Wednesday, June 4.  You’ve all been emailed a link for registration.  If it’s lost in your full inbox, click here.

1:00-2:00, we’ll learn how to use the Lone Wolf back office to print expense reports, enhance listings, messaging and more!  A reminder that there will be no training on Thursday May 5, our regular time.  Also, you may attend one or both sessions, but please sign up right away!

The rest of the month, we go back to regular Thursday training:

 Videolicious!

June 12, 1:00 Harvey Avenue:

Inman News just wrote an article about Coldwell Banker’s Innovative and Groundbreaking YouTube channel that continues to be a giant in the industry among the competitors who are trying in vain to keep up.  Want to read the article “How Coldwell Banker Conquered YouTube”?  Click Here!  In this class, you will learn how to make a video, as well as get some great tips on appearing your best on camera.  We’ll brainstorm ideas on neighbourhood videos, the type of features to highlight in listing videos, and establishing a niche using video.  This class is most helpful for those with an iPad or iPhone!

The Fine Print:  Contract Basics.

June 19, 1:00pm Harvey Ave:

Do you explain your Contract of Purchase and Sale, and Listing Contract in Detail?  You should!  In this class, we will review both contracts, and they will be explained to you in common language you can use with your Buyers and Sellers.

Presenting Offers, A Lost Art?

June 26, 1:00pm Harvey Avenue

In multiple offers last week, it came to be that if one agent had presented their offer in person, they would have secured the property for their Buyer.  In this fast paced, busy time, agents often opt out of presenting because they don’t have time.  In this class, we’ll make the case of why personal offer presentation is so important, learn tips on working together for the common goal, and strategies you can employ to make your offer presentations more effective.  If we have time, there will be some role playing in the end!

Lynn will be sending out Eventbrite Invites for the remaining three courses, so please RSVP if you plan on attending.  All classes are first come, first served, and knowing numbers for course material is very helpful!

Happy Selling,

Jennifer
