January is a time for re-birth, re-invention and setting intentions for the “you” you’d like to be. Many of us look at lifestyle, health, wellness. I hear a lot of people choosing a ‘dry” January, doing a cleanse, signing up for a marathon, eating more veggies. How many of us have a resolution for professional growth?
Our Business Planners in the office are already off to terrific starts. They have mapped their year formulating a clear plan, reviewing it with me, and setting follow-up sessions. I am really in awe over how this group has embraced growth, are implementing the tools and following through! Just the act of completing their plan is a huge effort many of us enjoy about as much as we do filing tax returns! It takes a special, motivated and organized individual to get those plans completed, and for those of you that have done them, I really admire you.
Many of these plans included plans for personal growth, implementing new systems, and putting more lines into the prospecting “pond”. One way of committing to this is by attending the next Gen Blue Conference. Another, is by attending the sessions we offer. After sitting down with all of you, I have tried to design a first quarter education curriculum to complement your plans and hopefully enrich your marketing programs and prospecting efforts. Whip out your calendar, and make your commitment for professional growth!

So, first up is next week’s class: “So You Got an iPad for Christmas“. Perhaps you’ve opened it and used it to check your Facebook or check the World Junior Hockey Scores, but you might be curious as to the apps, tools and capabilities for your Real Estate Business. In this class, you’ll learn how you can load your listing presentation, mirror your iPad on any screen in the office, and we’ll have Kimberly on hand to help get you set up on the printers! Now, I am aware that some of you have had your iPads for quite some time, and think you’re not using them to their full potential. Please know that you are welcome, too!
For those of you who have the windows or android tablets… I’m sorry. I won’t be running classes in these, and many are not as functional to use in the office, but I can direct you to some video tutorials and articles. Just message me if I can help steer you in the right direction.
Great news for 2015, is that we won’t have to cap the numbers for the classes. While most of our classes will be held at Harvey Avenue, those with greater interest will be hosted in the huge conference room at our new Property Management Office!
